Washington, D.C.: Readers have wondered why we use so many foreign news sites. The answer is that they are much more accurate than American ones. One of the best is Reuters, another the Guardian, both English. And RT has excellent articles on negative aspects of current American culture that, while accurate, are very rarely seen in the major American media. Once-famous newspapers like The New York Times are falling apart and there is far more important and serious news to be found today on the Internet than in any American newspaper. And the best thing is that the Internet is free. True, it is now stuffed with advertisements for products I would not want in my house, but one can ignore the obnoxious ads and read an enormous panorama of daily news for absolutely nothing.
